In 2 Corinthians 11:24 – 28 Paul writes “Five times I received from the Jews thirty nine lashes. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have spent in the deep. I have been on frequent journey’s, in dangers from robbers, dangers from my country men, dangers from the Gentiles, dangers in the city, dangers in the wilderness, dangers on the sea, dangers among false brethren. I have been in labor and hardship, through many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure. Apart from such external things, there is a daily pressure on me of concern for all the churches.” Paul wrote about these trials not as a brag book but he understood the war time mentality, facing persecution for the sake of Jesus Christ.
Today we are still at war, youth ministries are competing with Hollywood entertainment to draw youth into their programs. Taking the time to study the scriptures on a daily basis are defeated by worldly entertainment.
Our youth face the challenge of low expectations each and everyday.
Precept Ministries in Canada has planted Transform Canada Student Ministries to partner with local churches and youth groups across Canada to equip and transform the lives of students.
Our goal is to reach youth with the following message:

The day has past when we can sit passively by and watch as our young people continue to be sitting in our churches and not reaching their peers for Christ and His kingdom. It is our prayer that this new work including conferences, retreats, peer to peer outreach will transform the hearts that we touch through the power of inductively studying God’s word Precept Upon Precept.
